Council of Europe's Self-Assessment Grid helps you evaluate your language proficiency level and choose a suitable course accordingly. Learn more about language proficiency levels and Council of Europe's (CoE) Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at <a href="https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages/introduction-and-context" target="blank">official CEFR website</a>
CoE CEFR divides language proficiency into three levels:
- Basic User (A)
- Independent User (B)
- Proficient User (C):
These three levels are further sub-divided into two more specific levels each:
- A1, A2
- B1, B2
- C1, C2
